For more stubborn sap, applying a small amount of rubbing alcohol or a specialised wood cleaner can help dissolve and remove it effectively.How to remove dried sap or resin:If the sap or resin has dried, carefully scrape it off with a plastic scraper or an old credit card. Be gentle to avoid scratching the wood. After scraping, use fine-grit sandpaper to smooth out any remaining residue, then wipe clean with a damp cloth.Salt crystal extraction due to impregnation:Additionally, you may notice some green salt crystals forming on the surface of the wood. This is a natural result of the impregnation process used to protect the wood. Brush these salt crystals with a soft brush or cloth to remove them. You can also use warm water to clean the surface gently if needed.
