Wood storage in an elegant and classic panel design will look great everywhere you need to store firewood. The strong and durable wood storage is perfect for storing wood and will keep the wood dry and in place. As the wood storage is made of natural wood, you have to treat it with a breathable wood preservative to make it resistant to the elements. Use a transparent wood preservative and enjoy the wooden look, or use a colour of your liking to make the storage blend in or stand out. All the parts are prefabricated for easy assembly. Please note that roofing is not included! Dancover expert tip We recommend an annual check of the condition of the paint and wood in general and to re-treat as required. Re-treatment of the wood storage is advised at least every two years. We recommend placing the Bertilo wood storage on a firm and level surface such as concrete, flagstones, paving slabs or similar. As the wood storage has a wooden base, you must ensure that water does not assemble under it, as it can damage the wooden base over time. In general, timber is a natural material, and weather conditions will affect the material. In warm and dry weather, the material will lose some internal moisture, causing an inevitable shrinkage of the frame in Nordic spruce. Conversely, excessive rain will cause a specific swelling of the wooden frame. This process cannot be avoided. Ensure the wood storage is placed with a little distance on all sides to secure air circulation.
