A planter box is a small world in itself filled with wonderful flowers, herbs, and maybe other plants of your liking. You can have a planter box almost anywhere - on the patio, on a balcony, on a roof top terrace, inside a greenhouse, or somewhere in the garden. Use one or more planting boxes depending on the room you have – use the sturdy and elegant planting boxes as room dividers on the patio or as a fence to provide a little privacy. Most of our planting boxes are more or less maintenance-free but the painted planting boxes should be freshened with a coat of paint from time to time.

A planter box is simply a small part of a garden where you can grow almost any kind of plants if the conditions are right. Like any other garden, you will need some good soil, water, sun, and maybe some fertiliser from time to time. You can use the planter boxes or raised garden beds for eatable herbs or vegetables or simply as a beautiful decorative bed filled with elegant flowers all summer. Keep your herbs and more near the patio and the barbecue grill so you can cut the herbs and use it directly on the grill. If you prefer flowers, you can have them near the patio to enjoy or to make splashed of colours around the garden. We recommend that you place some planter boxes around the patio or around your garden gazebo or greenhouse to integrate the structure into the garden in an elegant way. Just remember that a planter box or raised garden bed sometimes need a little more water as the amount of soil is limited compared to the open garden.

Just make sure that there is enough soil if you select a large bush or small tree as the roots will become a problem at some point in a small planter box.
