Tents4Trees and other environmental initiatives
Dancover plants a tree for every order we receive. Our concept Tents4Trees has so far made it possible for us to plant over 165.000 trees in Zambia, Myanmar, and Madagascar. At present, we plant trees in Madagascar in cooperation with the Eden Reforestation Project. Every time you buy a product from Dancover, you help to plant more mangrove trees in Madagascar, where restoring mangrove estuaries in Mahajanga has been going on for several years with great results. We have other similar initiatives on the way as we want to live up to our responsibility towards the world and the environment. Among other things, we are working on several new products with a more environmental-friendly profile and are looking at many other initiatives.
Our brands
As we have gathered momentum and experience as an international e-shop, we have launched several of our own registered brands. We are proud to have brands like FleXtents®, CosyLifeStyle®, ProShed® and Modularo® among many others. These popular brands include an extensive range of high-quality products within several of our main categories like Garden, Storage, Event and Party. The brands have become well-known for quality, innovation and functionality.
The future
Dancover has proven to be able to grow year after year and we are still expanding and presenting new products and categories. A part of our overall success and stamina has been highly qualified employees on every level of the organisation. Our main office is situated in Denmark but our 70+ employees represent many different nationalities. That is part of our thorough knowledge of different markets and the reason we have so many satisfied customers all over Europe and beyond.
Dancover supports WORLD LAND TRUST
As part of our general commitment to nature and the environment worldwide, we joined World Land Trust as a Corporate Partner. We support their great work ensuring the protection of tropical forest habitats for all the wildlife that depends on it and taking action against climate change. Our specific target area is Kenya’s Dakatcha Woodland, which is a landscape of remarkable conservation value. These forests lie within a global biodiversity hotspot – the Coastal Forest ecoregion of eastern Africa – and are a crucial area for birds and biodiversity in general. Some of the most essential ways WLT partners ensure a project’s success are securing ownership of the area, working with local people throughout the conservation process, and managing and monitoring the area to help the resident species thrive.
Dancover supports UN-DO
Dancover supports an initiative that helps remove CO₂ from the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide has been combined with rainwater for millions of years to form carbonic acid. When this dilute acid falls on mountains, forests and grassland, the CO₂ interacts with the rocks and soil, mineralizes, and is safely stored in carbonate form. This process takes hundreds of thousands of years, but now the company UN-DO has found a method to enhance and accelerate this process. This is done by spreading crushed basalt rock on farmland, increasing the surface area of the rock, and giving it immediate contact with the CO₂ produced by plant roots and soil microbes. UN-DO has reduced the timescale from millions of years to mere decades. The CO₂ stays locked away for hundreds of thousands of years or, as far as humans are concerned, permanently.
Dancover supports Team Rynkeby
We proudly announce that Dancover has become Gold Sponsor for Team Rynkeby 2024. Team Rynkeby is a European charity cycling team. The money goes to a series of organizations – 28.9 million DDK was divided between Børnecancerfonden (Children's Cancer Foundation) and Børnelungefonden (Children's Lung Foundation).

Dancover supports Ukraine through a variety of humanitarian organizations
At Dancover, we have for many years been glad that we have had the opportunity to support various good causes. Right now, it is obvious that we want to support Ukraine and the many victims of the senseless war and atrocities committed against Ukraine and its people - both those who remain and the many who have fled with just a few possessions. Fortunately, there are many people and organizations who are ready to help in these situations. Among other organizations, we have chosen to support…
Dancover supports the Red Cross
The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement is the world's largest humanitarian organization. For 150 years it has helped people through wars and disasters. It counts 13 million volunteers in 192 countries. In Denmark, the Red Cross runs asylum centres and is responsible for people applying for asylum. Dancover supports the work of the Red Cross both in Ukraine, in the various neighbouring areas and the great work that the organization is doing in Denmark, where refugees are beginning to arrive and will be in need of everyday necessities and over time help for creating an everyday life depending on the situation in Ukraine.
Dancover supports UNHCR - UN High Commissioner for Refugees
As the name suggests, UNHCR works to help refugees around the world, and unfortunately this is a job that still requires enormous efforts in far too many places. Right now, it is concentrating on the large number of people fleeing the war in Ukraine. It is not just about food and a place to sleep, but also about basic rights and security in the areas where the refugees have to go through and stay for a shorter or longer period of time. A large number of women and children have set off for an unknown future in other countries, and here it is important to secure them in the best possible way.
Dancover supports MSF
MSF or Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders) is an international, non-governmental humanitarian relief organization, which was formed in 1971 in Paris by a group of French doctors and journalists. As most people know, Médecins Sans Frontières is present in areas where most people are fleeing due to war and disasters. Dancover has chosen to support this organization, as they also make an exceptional effort in connection with the war in Ukraine, where we again see meaningless destruction with many dead and wounded as a result. Here, Médecins Sans Frontières can make a huge difference with their many different skills and knowledge.
Dancover supports UNICEF
UNICEF was established in 1946 by the United Nations after World War II. At the time, many children were starving and suffering after five years of war, and UNICEF was tasked with helping them. Since then, the organization has worked with emergency aid, disaster relief and development aid around the world, especially with a focus on helping children. Dancover supports this important effort, as even in this war there are children who are victims of some horrific circumstances that the adults barely comprehend and therefore have a hard time explaining to the children. Again, it is about helping children in Ukraine as well as all those who are on the run from the horrors of war.
Dancover supports Together for Ukraine
Being an international company based in Denmark, Dancover also supported a large fundraising show set up by the two major broadcasting organizations in Denmark, DR and TV2 on March 12 2022 - and in collaboration with 18 aid organizations - the show raised over 165 DKR millions for the victims of the war both in Ukraine and relevant neighbouring countries. Dancover was impressed by the incredible generosity and compassion shown by the Danes when they donated money to help the millions of people who either suffer in Ukraine or who have fled the country. All these people who now have to try to build a kind of existence in a foreign country while still fearing for family and friends back home in Ukraine.
