How to maintain your gazebo

Most of our gazebos are maintenance-free so you can lean back into your lounger and relax as you do not have to paint or maintain the gazebo in any way. In general, you can just wash your gazebo using water and a mild detergent if the structure has become dusty or fallen leaves and more has landed on the roof. If you have large trees near your garden gazebo, you may experience that leaves will gather on top of the gazebo. We recommend that you do not place your gazebo under a large tree as branches may fall, leaves will gather on top of the gazebo and birds may dirty the roof.

For the gazebos with a polycarbonate roof, you may have less light inside the gazebo if there are too many leaves on top of the gazebo and even though polycarbonate is almost unbreakable, a large branch from above can harm and break the roof panes. Normally, fallen leaves is not an issue during the summer where you normally would use the gazebo more but as our garden gazebos are made for permanent use, you can use the structure more or less all year and also in the autumn where the leaves can become an issue. Use a broom or similar and the problem can be fixed in no time.

The sidewalls, curtains, and mosquito nets should always be removed in case of bad weather and in the winter. The frames of our various garden gazebos are made to endure all kinds of weather whereas the sidewalls and other items made of fabric should be protected against strong wind and temperatures below zero. During the summer you can clean the sidewalls with water and a sponge with a mild detergent. In general, you do not have to clean or maintain the sidewalls or other curtains. Please note that the guarantee may not cover if the sidewalls are damaged during bad weather if you have not taken precaution to take down the sidewalls beforehand.

If you have a garden gazebo with a gutter system, please sure that this is free of any objects as it may block the downpour and make the water run elsewhere.
