Having an elegant awning over your patio provides a special place outside. Here you can spend hours together with friends and family enjoying a barbecue or just relaxing. You can also place an awning somewhere else where you have a garden wall or similar. Enjoy the shelter where you can sit in the shade during the day and be sheltered from the falling dew in the evening. You just need a strong and stable wall to mount the awning. The various awnings are waterproof so you can stay outside even when it rains a little. Furthermore, with an awning, your garden furniture, cushions and other things on the patio will be protected against the UV-rays as well as the rain.
You can have two different types of awnings - manually operated with a handle or an easier solution with a built-in motor and remote control. Both types of awnings can be out and ready in no time to provide shade and shelter.
When assembling and mounting your awning
Most of our various awnings are delivered as an assembly set with an enclosed step-by-step manual. The best way to start is by organising all the various parts to be sure that everything is there. Make sure that you have enough room to work and please be aware of safety regulations as you can see in the shop under Safety Advice. Make sure you know about wearing protective gear, general rules, use of tools and how to go about the assembly. It is important that you are two persons to do the job as the parts can be heavy and you need to be precise when assembling the awning and when you mount it on the wall.
Awnings with a strong aluminium frame and durable fabric
Our awnings come with a sturdy aluminium frame. Combined with the strong and durable fabric, you can enjoy your awning for a long time. Your new room outside will soon become a natural place to meet when you want to spend some time on the patio and more. In general, the fabric is 280 g/m² polyester, waterproof, and with a high UV-resistance. The slim casing of the awning makes is elegant and will look elegant and discreet when the awning is closed. Our high-quality awnings come complete with all parts and are ready to be assembled, mounted and connected.
Be sure to mount your awning correctly
Mounting an awning requires a little knowledge about mounting heavy objects onto a wall or similar. You need to measure precisely where to place the awning and you have to know how to connect the cord if you have chosen an awning with motor and remote control. Furthermore, the awning is heavy so please make sure that you are two or more for the job. If in doubt, call a professional and make him or her do the job so nobody gets hurt during mounting or afterwards.
