Even if you have an awning or a patio cover, it can still be nice to have a parasol as it is easy to move around during the day so you have pleasant shade at all times. Having a parasol with a tilting function makes it even better as it can shade for the sun late in the afternoon where the awning fails to provide shade.
With a good parasol, you can always find pleasant shade no matter where you sit on the patio or in the garden. In short, a parasol is an essential part of life outside in the garden or on the patio. Our parasols range from the classic garden parasol up to our professional hanging parasols or cantilever parasols. A parasol is an elegant and functional part of the lounge furniture as well as over the dining area. Even though most of us love it when the sun shines, we all have to take care and get out of the sun from time to time. A parasol is made to create pleasant shade and to shelter from the falling dew at night.
Parasols in durable materials and elegant design
A parasol must be nice to look at but it is also important that the parasol is easy to handle. Our parasols are easy to open and close so you can easily create shade if it gets too hot – and close it again when you want full sun. Even in the evening the parasol is useful as it provides shelter from the falling dew, so you can enjoy the warm evenings a little longer. We offer various kinds of lighting and heaters for the patio, so you can enjoy your patio and garden even more despite the weather and temperature. Please note that we offer a wide range of high-quality parasols for private customers as well as professionals.
Parasol bases must match the parasol
You can have many different kinds of parasols with and without a base and ballast. Many of our parasols comes with a base included but some of the bases need ballast, which you have to order separately. Always make sure that your parasol is secured with the right amount of ballast. For the small parasols, the base is usually enough weight to keep the parasol standing even though you need to close it in case of bad weather – especially wind. The larger parasols need much more ballast and sometimes you can even secure the parasol to the ground. If the parasol is not weighed down properly, the parasol may fall and get damaged – or worse, damage people.
